“Live Again” is an empathic testament and great song, that speaks to many of us who’ve experienced an emotionally low point somewhere in our lives and have risen from the sorrow and emptiness of those moments. “Live Again” is truly a medicine for the soul, what a wonderfully empathic song. ~ Stewart Brennan, World United Music

THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG
"Live Again" was inspired by the stories of those close to Melissa during mentally challenging periods of their lives. People whom she knew well and whom she witnessed struggling to get to grips with their own lives; people who had trouble asking for - and even accepting that - they needed help yet she could see that, through their behaviour, help was precisely what they wanted. Unable to express this directly to anyone, Melissa put her feelings into this song.
"Live Again" is Melissa's reminder to herself and to others that we can all be sufferers of mental health illness on some level. It is also her way of trying to encourage greater awareness of, and compassion for, mental health issues generally.
The "Live Again" video is being used to support the work of mental health charity, SANE.
On February 27th, 2016, a public "big sing" - "SING4SANE" - will take place at a #CaffeNero coffee shop, which will see Melissa gather alongside a group of like-minded individuals to perform this song. The event will fundraise for mental health charity, SANE.
